Children that are starving

I see their eyes

as they cry

I fell their pain

when no one does

the horror that their souls behold

it tells a story that goes untold

going on malnourished

they have no food to eat

the sound ftheir stomach rumbling as theysleep

asked to climb this impossible feet

their only children I say to myself
